From Piedmont, North Oakland, Montclair

From Moraga Avenue, turn right onto Pleasant Valley Road. Turn left at Piedmont Avenue. Turn left at Broadway. Turn right at 30th Street. Turn left at Summit Street. Our building is on the right, between 30th Street and 29th Street.

From East Oakland

I-580 West. Exit at MacArthur/Harrison. Continue straight onto MacArthur. Turn left at Piedmont Avenue. Turn left at Broadway. Turn right at 30th Street. Turn left at Summit Street. Our building is on the right, between 30th Street and 29th Street.

From Emeryville, West Oakland

From Powell Street, turn right onto San Pablo Avenue. Turn left at 35th Street. Turn right at Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Turn left at 29th Street. Turn left at Summit Street. Our building is on the left, between 29th Street and 30th Street.

From Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Kensington, Berkeley

I-80 West to I-580 East. Exit Broadway/Webster, using the Webster branch. At the stop sign, turn left onto Webster Street. Turn right at 30th Street. Turn left at Summit Street. Our building is on the right, between 30th Street and 29th Street.

From Orinda, Lafayette

CA-24 West to I-980 West. Exit 27th Street. Turn left onto West Grand at the end of the exit ramp. Turn left onto 27th Street. Turn left at Broadway. Turn left at 29th Street. Turn right at Summit Street. Our building is on the left, between 29th Street and 30th Street.

Parking

Street parking is available around our building and is enforced Monday – Saturday, from 8am – 6pm. There is a parking machine directly in front of our building on Summit Street. The cost is $2.00 for 60 minutes, with a 2 hour maximum. The machine takes nickels/dimes/quarters/$1 coins, Visa and MasterCard. There are also 2 hour parking meters on 29th Street; please don’t forget to bring quarters.

You can also park at the Summit Peralta Garage located on 29th Street right around the corner from our clinic. The garage is open Monday – Friday and is closed on weekends and holidays. The cost is $1.50 for each 20 minutes or fraction thereof ($4.50 for 60 minutes.) If you have a handicapped permit, the cost is $1.00 per hour.

And you can also park at the Summit Providence Garage located on Summit Street between 30th Street and Hawthorne. The cost and hours are the same as the Summit Peralta Garage.

The Alta Bates Summit Medical Center provides free Van Shuttle Service from the MacArthur BART station to the Summit Campus Monday – Friday, 6am – 9pm. The Shuttle runs every 15 minutes. Contact the Parking and Transportation Department for the most current schedule by calling (510) 655-4000 Ext. 2126.
