Payment Policy

Schedule your next appointment in our reception office.

Our practice accepts MasterCard, Visa, and personal checks. Cash is welcome only if you have the exact amount of the invoice. For current pricing information, please ask for a copy of the Treatment Rates sheet.

There are two ways to pay:

Electronic Insurance Submission:
You must pay the full amount of the invoice at the time of services. If you have confirmed that your insurance policy covers acupuncture services, we will electronically submit your invoice for reimbursement, saving you the time and paperwork. The insurance reimbursement check will be mailed directly from your insurance company to you. It is your responsibility to track your claims and resolve any problems with your insurance company. Please bring your insurance card to your first visit.

Non-Insurance Invoices: Flowing River Clinic provides complementary alternative health care to a diverse patient population without discrimination. Please ask if you qualify for any of the following treatment rate discounts:

20% discount: for patients whose insurance plan does not cover acupuncture treatment. Patients wishing to use their medical savings account qualify for this rate.

30% discount: for patients whose insurance plan does not cover acupuncture treatment and who identify as a Senior (62 years and older) or as a Full time Student (any age.)

50% discount: for patients who have limited financial income or are currently under financial hardship.

Herbal formulas, supplements, and remedies are charged in addition to the treatment fee and are not discounted.
